Even the pool was 95 degrees

today I went to my brother's place to a) see the new appliances b) to learn to use the new appliances and the new tv system because I'll be house/cat sitting.

My brother has a little pool. I spent hours hovering just at the waterline with my head (the rest of me submerged like a manatee) But with the water that hot, it wasn't that refreshing.

I had planned to go to the whiskey rebellion festival tomorrow but it was only friday/Sat. That's weird but oh well (it was too hot for festivals) I wanted to go to the Pittsburgh Pickle festival. (points to the too hot thing)

So what are you all doing this weekend? Anything fun?

That sounds like a nice pool, I hope the temp goes down for it! Especially because of the weather being so hot! Swimming in a hot/warm pool is just... ugh....

This weekend is busy for me. I have picked up overtime today and tomorrow. Today after work I helped a friend with a block party she was running to rise money for a local animal hospital/rehabilitation center. It was very hot. Tomorrow I am going to the calling hours for my half siblings father.

My mom and I talked about going to the Cost Plus World Market (we always visit twice a year- once in the summer and once before Christmas), but decided we should do it in during the week with my dad instead (we're in the process of acquiring a new couch). Probably on Wednesday.

sounds fun. It's it mostly groceries from around the world or all sorts of things (good luck with the couch)

Yeah, I love that place. (we already have one picked out, but we're waiting for it to be made over in the color we preferred)
