ouch!

It's so not my day today. First in the planning session for next year, I sliced open my left ring finger on a file and bled everywhere. But the skin flapped back down and all was well. Then my students handed back their lab exams and one hit my finger and totally sliced off that skin flap and I bled all over. Whines. Why do papercuts hurt SO much?

And I couldn't decided which nano winner plaque I wanted so I grabbed both!

And that's not good about your finger. I'd love to know why papercuts hurt as much as they do. I know some people who barely bleed when they get one. I always get papercuts that are worse than when my cats scratch me.

Congrats! I downloaded and go my banners last night but haven't put them in my journal yet.

I used to be on the safety committee at work and there was a worker's comp claim for a paper cut. Everyone was shaking their head until the details were given. A secretary was typing a letter and kept goofing up. She got frustrated and ripped the paper out of the typewriter -- and right across the cornea of her eye.

Wow Dana, you finally did it!! Congrats to you =D and Ouch for your finger, gotta be careful..paper do really cuts. I got a friend whose eyes got cut by the paper but luckily it didn't cut too deep. She was lucky so you gotta be careful.

It's okay and yap another paper cut eye. I guess probably my friend that night she worked till very late, 11pm and she must be very tired so accidents do happen when you are tired or not careful. But luckily it wasn't that serious, she only took a day or two medical leave.
