Stick a fork in me
Nov. 29th, 2005 10:23 pmI'm done. I had to teach THREE chapters in three hours. I'm more exhausted than my poor students. And the next spoiled brat who whines about their test not getting graded is just sucking around for a bitch slap. You get them when you get them. Your professor's world does NOT revolve around grading your exam so just learn to live with it.
On the other hand, one of my students told me I was the best science teacher she ever had and hadn't ever learned so much before. Awwww....
Dad emailed me for help getting mom a gift. He's been married to her for 40 years and is still clueless.
And I hated House tonight. That was a shock I think I started freezing up when they mentioned peer review. By ten minutes in I'm twitching on the couch remembering peer reviews (me and for others) in the past. Chase was annoying me and at the very end, putting a subordinate doctor OVER House to watch him for a month just seemed utterly unrealistic and done merely to up the soapy ness. I'm not looking forward to next week which is a shame)

Did you suggest maybe Mr. Spock on a platter? Or perhaps Pierce Brosnan?

I'm so glad I live in Indiana though I'm thinking Florida would really be the better place 'til that hell freezes over.

Uses "Watch" icon in honor of last night's ep

Date: 2005-11-30 05:19 pm (UTC)Winry was a tad TOO geeky and alittle unsympathetic when it came to Ed's desire to be rid of the automail but then she makes up for it later. (Ed, you shower with your boxers on?)
I see why now you and Silvrethorn like Armstrong.
Where does Ed/Al live in Central? House? barracks? Whereever the hell?
And Ed/Al's exchange was intriguing and made a plot bunny that won't die suggesting that it's not really Al's soul in that armor but rather a manifestation of Ed's desire to save his brother and he's really talking to a part of his own psyche
Re: Uses "Watch" icon in honor of last night's ep
Date: 2005-11-30 05:31 pm (UTC)I don't think those are boxers. There's some sort of dark shadow under them that looks like bicycle pants - I'm thinking they're jean shorts, personally. Though everyone always refers to them as boxers so it's fanon at this point, if nothing else.
Isn't Armstrong the best? He and Havoc and Hughes - just love 'em (though I didn't start really liking Havoc until the last Saturday ep, which I won't spoil for you if you haven't seen it).
Ed/Al live in barracks at Central (when they're there) and in barracks whenever they're at a military outpost.
Now that's a cool plot bunny. OOoOoo.
What happened to the other one that you were stabbing with Q-tips, speaking of bunnies?
