I can't do it. I know I can't watch the whole game. Dad's already yelling at me for suggesting it but I'm supersitious. Whenever I watch they start losing. I'll be flipping around and catching snatches of it. Besides it's better for my blood pressure. And the little kid next door doesn't need to learn THOSE kinds of words. But I'm ready. Got the beer. Got the stuffed animals lined up on the couch (for throwing) Got the tv cleared of breakables just in case the throwing arm is off kilter (now you see why evil_little_dog  didn't let me watch football when I lived at her place)

in non-sports news, Busy practicing my speech for monday. Goes something like this 'if you got a poor grade on this exam which was 75% REVIEW material from previous classes, please decide what you need to do to improve and please come talk to me.

Hope to clean house a little too (well don't hope to but I need to), plan to do more writing too. Ch 19 of Hyperion's Son is done. I just need to clean it up.

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit, I'm pulling for the Seahawks because of Shaun Alexander (Crimson Tide, baby! I have to root for any of my boys), but considering I'm not an NFL fan generally, I wouldn't mind if the Steelers won. Go your team!!

Well see you have a good reason to root for the Hawks. Most of my students are (this is Bengal country here). And if the Steelers lose they'll probably have something to say to me. Then I'll give them back their exams which half of them failed and gloat

I'm a nervous wreck. I always have the fear if I watch the game they'll lose too, but they've won every playoff game I watched, so I'm not feeling so jinxy now.

I *am* wearing my Steelers shirt though for extra good luck. :)

I'm definitely a nervous wreck and it occurs to me I own nothing with gold on it. Not sure where the Steeler shirt went off too but it's long gone.
