Taking a break from grading exams (and realizing I buggered up two questions on the lab practical and had to take two answers for them). So as promised pictures from the convention (no neither I nor evil_little_dog are in them since we weren't doing cosplay).

I'd like to restring the array medallion on something actually attractive.

Just as I snapped the picture Alucard and Integra Hellsing stepped out of the shot (darn it) so all I ended up with was Trigun.

This young man was doing a very passable Major Armstrong. He could have hammed it up even more since well Armstrong is so over the top

It's not often you'll see the Fullmetal Alchemist and Barry the Chopper together. Barry was being played but a fairly young man who wasn't quite sure how to go over the top but he did a good job with the costume. I appreciated him more than Ed, who's pretty much a dime a dozen


I'm still kicking myself for not getting the old fellow in the Shojo outfit or hunting down the girl who did a good Seras Victoria and the guy who looked like Gluttony...no make up needed

If I did cosplay, I could probably pull off Trisha Elric with no real effort. Other than that... not much.

Wolfwood? He's too easy. Didn't anyone with a gallon or two of max-hold gel and Elmer's glue to spare at least attempt Vash the Stampede? And was Inuyasha represented at all among the cosplayers?

I don't think so. Ditto with Inuyasha...which now that I think about it is odd. There was someone with a squirrel tail (or some kind of rodent) and a couple with this strange vessle on their backs wiht the words Mum Mum on it (there was fan junk for this too but I don't know the anime)

There were a few of Inuyasha's little kitsune companion running around...and yes, there WAS a Vash the Stampede there. I pointed him out to Dana when we were eying up Gluttony but neither of us remembered long enough to get photos.
