the blahs

There was one thing not blah today. I got my care package from sita_137. I love it thank you very much. I made the chana masala tonight and it was great. I've never seen this brand. It has a website. I need to see if I can order some.

It was a dull teaching day. Correcting exams, even duller. My story, ugh, duller yet. And I tried to watch Bones tonight but within a half hour I just wanted Temperance dead. DB just isn't sexy enough to make this show bearable (though half my flist will disagree). The pirate stuff was cute. I figured out it was a salted shaft way before they did (and a woman in her field doesn't know the term 'salted' please, no way. that is NOT some pop culture term). If she whined once more about that bone being put into a solvent I was going to kill her. All Hodgekins (or whatever his name is) had to do was take the solvent and put it in the mass spec and find out what particulates were there. That's how its done in the first place. Brennan is like running a cheese grater over your naked body.

So I fled this show and into the tub...only to find out once more I have no hot water. That's it. I've had it. I live alone. I have my own hot water tank. There is no reason that 2-3 days a week I have no hot water.

Okay maybe this shouldn't be called the blahs. It should be irritated for no good reason

I rewatched Bones again a few weeks ago, but I was very drunk at the time. I'd watch it if it was just Boreanaz in the lead, but like you, I can't bloody stand that woman.

Glad you got it. Chana Masala is my favorite - and really, I was just trying to pick things without too much rice/bread for you. :)

And I think I'd actually perish without hot water on demand. For one thing, I'm always freezing...

I loved the chana masala. I like paneer too, especially palak paneer. Actually outside of the pineapple on there's hardly ANY sugar in the ones you got (and even the pineapple wasn't too bad) so good job

i have looked parampara's site does have food to order but it's the kind where you have to actually buy ingredients to make it (not that I mind that since beyond anything with paneer in it I can get the stuff easily) I didn't get as far as looking at price.

However, the pineapple curry (from a different company)...not sure if yuo've bought this for yourself or not but if not I'd suggest don't. It was sadly not worth your money. If there were more than 6 pieces of pineapple I'd have been shocked and most of them were the crushed bits you find in fruit cocktail (and the curry wasn't tasty to me at any rate but I still appreciate the thought).
