i'm so confused

you know I thought I had a 500$ deductible (which is normal) on my health insurance. I had this little ticker on my EOB's saying 1,500$ which I got a letter to say it was down to 7cents. In a panic, thinking I've run out of prescription money, i call them (and yes, whoever created those new computer answering services that won't let you get to customer service until you go through the seven gates of hell, GOD will punish you. I promise you this) Well, that 7 cents is all that's left on my deductible. A TWO THOUSAND dollar deductible! OMG. No wonder my health insurance is cheap at work. WTF?

And thing about this, I paid out that in under FOUR months. I hate being this ill. I'm going to talk to HR. I could have sworn they told me it was only 500$ (which I think it is 1500 is for pills and 500 for everything else).

And thanks to everyone who participated in the rape discussion. I didn't complain to the moderators because there weren't any rules against character bashing. However other people must not have been shy about it (or the mod's themselves were disgusted) because there is a ruling against it NOW! So props to them for stepping up.
