“Harmony! This is not what we meant when we said meet all our guests’ needs,” Angel raged the moment the blonde stepped into his office.

Harmony recoiled back, eyeing the bigger vampire warily. What kind of greeting was that? She was expecting someone to notice her new Tahari pant suit and her Fendi wedges and instead she was confronted with so much hostility she was afraid it would scare her hair straight. Gunn and Wesley were with Angel, looking just as unhappy. Boy, could Gunn dress. He was all kinds of studly in his gray Armani suit. And the stubble was Wes’ best friend. No wonder he had Cordy creaming her jeans back in Sunnydale. She must have seen the hidden hot in him.

“Harmony, when I suggested Angel hire you, I assumed that you had at least an iota of common sense.” Wesley all but clucked his tongue at her. Sheesh, what had she done wrong this time?

“Today’s hosted events most assuredly don’t fit in with Wolfram and Hart’s new image,” Gunn put in. What was it? Gang up on Harmony day?

“What?” she asked, cracking her gum at them.

“The Minarik Triad, you’re the one who arranged the entertainment for them,” Angel said. Boy, he looked furious.

“Just like you told me to, boss,” Harmony replied, shifting around uncomfortably. She wish she knew what they were so hopped up about.

“You need to learn to draw the line, Harmony,” Wesley said.

“That’s putting it mildly,” Gunn added. “How do we explain that banquet hall?”

The light went on in Harmony’s head. “Oh, you mean I should have said no to the Triad’s meal request for something fitting a cannibal buffet. Okay, I’ll remember that next time,” she said, wondering why they were all staring at her like she was brain dead.
