It's Over

WHOO HOOO, my grades are turned in! It was a trial, it took half the day but they're in. I loved how the computer system we have to use only put in HALF the grades. It's like WTF and it would not work. I had to call the registrar. But it's done. I'm done.

Points to the icon that's me...well maybe tomorrow since I have to get up tomorrow at some ungodly hour to roam around in my stupid cap, gown and hood like a giant peacock. Oh and I decided to say screw the heels (since I couldn't find any that weren't sandals with spikes) and wear the sandals (if I'm going to be in them all day I'll never last in heels, too much arthritis in the ankles.) So...wonder if they'll die if I pin my hood on with the elfin leaf brooch from LoTR? Now to find out if I have to wear that gown to the thing in the morning or just the commencement in the afternoon (no one was at work today but me. But why come in Monday to get those grades done. I'm ready now)

Oh and note to self, you are diabetic. Do NOT skip meals or else you'll find youself unable to drive because you're having a sugar attack and have to go to the DQ from something too sugary to stand just so you don't pass out. Okay, good., rememeber that now.

The cap and gown thing sounds like a long day, so definitely no heels, I agree. Done it twice myself, didn't particularly feel accomplished either time. Plus going to the toilet it them...;-(

i had the tequila. Decided to go with the comfortable sandals (it is outside after all) found my bobbie pins for the hat and now to transfer things into the purse praying I can carry that and at least entertain myself with writing.
