Day Tripping

Heading up to Columbus to meet some friends who are coming in from Boston to go to a HIM concert. I still don't have tickets (though this is apparently NOT a problem. OH seems rather uninterested in them) Even if it somehow sells out before I get there in a couple hours, no big deal. I barely know the band. I'm going more to hang out with friends I haven't seen in a couple years. I don't go to the concert, I'll crash at the hotel and do the writing thing away from this internet distraction.

And Columbus = Barnes & Nobles and comic book shops = damage to pocket book. I just wish my blood sugar would behave this week because it's making me tired.

Some season finale thoughts

L & O SVU - no need to cut for this...it was eh, a shot across Tom Cruise' bow (but really who cares about that), it was okay

Bones - Melodramatic dreck. Here's hoping that next year it'll be up against something I like so I won't even be tempted to hurt my brain with this. I like DB but Tempe is just too much to handle

L & O I was a little surprised to see Borgia go so quickly. I have no real feelings about it since she just never grabbed me as a character. I'll be curious to see who they get to replace her. L & O has such a revolving door that i'm use to seeing new faces. This was at least an interesting story

NCIS - So, is Harmon leaving? Do I care? Honestly no, I don't like Gibbs. I think evil_little_dog has it just right, I don't really want backstory on these people. I want a crime drama. Watching Tom pretend to be Gibbs was painful. Thank goodness for Ducky, McGee and Abbey.

Smallville - okay was this thing canceled or not? I heard it was months ago but that wasn't a finale for a show knowing it was canceled.

L& O CI You know I'm just not into politics. I would have preferred the captain to just retire and go rather than this dirty cop arc. Bleh.

Do you mean Tony? Anyway, to me NCIS without Mark Harmon would not be NCIS, but then I've been an MH fan for 30 years. I've read or heard nothing that Mark Harmon is leaving the series though.

Smallville was rumored to be cancelled. I remember seeing it and thinking thank god 'cause it really sucks any more. Guess they changed their mind.

You know I like MK a lot. I hate him in this show. Badly. I only actualy like Ducky, Abbey and McGeee
