How quickly we become dependant on something and get mad when it's not there, like LJ for instance which has been having snits for three days. I love how resentful I get over things I don't even understand (i.e. how the heck this thing even works) because I'm so darn impatient.

For those of you who sent in your Connor stories late, thanks for getting them to me and the reason they aren't on the master list IS because LJ is having snits. I only have two left to get. One I know is delayed, the other I've not heard a peep so I need to look into that.

Been mostly applying for jobs yesterday and today. Got 12 schools lined up to send applications to. WIsh me luck. One's in Alaska...ooooo, I'm excited by that, really. I've also found Kaplan's hiring. They teach you to take those standardized tests (which I'm not a fan of but it's a reality) and if I can't line up another teaching job that might be an excellent place to start and get some teaching experience behind me.

And out of the blue Fred started speaking to me for my female ficathon and in about 2 hours the thing got done. YEA! I was afraid I couldn't do it. Now to get Stoners done oh and Harmony...before I even start Ripper's.

like I said, it's very easy for me to sit and bitch about it when I have no idea how complex keeping a system like this going
