Paternity Drabbles
Jun. 18th, 2006 06:01 pmHmm given my love of a certain father/son relationship, there's a chance I might come up with more but for now here's two.
Connor - Too Many Dads - Post NFA
Father’s day was just confusing. What else could he expect when he had three dads, one dead and gone, one dead and still wandering, and one living and willing to spoil him rotten. In the back of his mind, Holtz still felt like ‘father.’ Connor tried not to think about it. Lawrence Reilly was content with the green fees Connor had bought for him. That just left the final dad.
Connor smirked when Angel answered the door. Connor handed him a stake. “I know where there’s a vampire nest. Wanna help me exterminate them?”
“Of course.”
“Happy Father’s Day, Dad.”
Giles S 6 - Jumbled Thoughts
Giles closed his Watcher’s diary, wondering what a psychologist would make of the little band he had become a surrogate father to. Looking at the questionable paternity that hounded the group, he had to think the cosmos had a sick sense of humor. A father that didn’t come to his own daughter’s funeral and abandoned his other child. A drunken father that didn’t guide his son. A father more interested in his causes than his daughter and another father accusing his child of demonhood to keep her down home. Even his own father had left a lot to be desired.
