Have a triptych of interlocking drabbles for the 'neighbor' prompt.
Theme - Neighbors
Connor - Post NFA - Why Dorms Suck
Why didn’t he just move out of the dorm? It was next to impossible to study with the neighbors he had. If the music wasn’t up too loud, the sounds of sloppy sex were. Maybe he was just jealous. Wouldn’t it be nice to have nothing to worry about than getting drunk and laid?
Not only did he have to learn the finer points of physiology, he had to fight demons. Three had trashed the dorm this semester alone. Connor slammed his book shut. Between Mr-Notch-a-Bedpost and Mr-Cloud-o-pot on either side, he was getting nothing done. Time to go hunting.
Connor - Post NFA - On the other Side of the Brick
Keith took a deep hit off his bong, “Telling you, I’m moving next semester.”
“Why?” Johnny grabbed the bong for himself.
“You try living next door to Reilly. He’s like a lightning rod for trouble. The place’s been trash like wow.” Keith threw up his hands.
“Maybe he needs to mellow, make him a better neighbor.” John said.
Keith grinned, dragging John and bong next door. They didn’t wait for Connor to answer the knock, just invited themselves in and plopped the bong on his desk. “Brought your study break.”
“Have you gone insane?” Connor growled.
“Relax, you’re too tight.”
Connor & Angel - Post NFA - Nicely Baked
Connor stumbled across the quad. He was going to kill his neighbors. What in the world made them think he needed to get high? Why the hell didn’t he just toss them out on their ear? He felt loose-limbed and starved as he tried to find Angel. He and Dad were supposed to be hunting. He tried to beg off since he was well and truly baked. Figures the vampire couldn’t get his cell phone working.
Angel took one sniff of him when he found him and raised an eyebrow. “Glad to see you’re enjoying the college experience, son.”
