I got back safely to find out Z never watered my plants because his mother never told him I asked him too. Sigh. ALL the herbs are dead as doornails. The inside of the house is filled with fruit flies (anyone know what kills those bastards off) because mom left the garbage in here...AND I find out the dean called me twice to ask me to take a class over that I a) don't want to b) don't have time to no matter what they seem to think c) can't really refuse too.

I should have stayed in PA.

Argh. :( I usually wait till flies land on a window and then squirt them with soapy water or windex. It waterlogs them and I can wipe them up and squish them with a paper towel. If there are a lot of them, though, maybe you could just take out all the garbage and leave the doors and windows open for a bit to thin out the herd. :/

Glad you're home safely. Sorry it's not to better circumstances.

I think the fruit flies will go away once the garbage is gone.

Well...staying in PA isn't the best idea either, unless you are going to commit homicide. *grin*

Fruit flies disappear as soon as their source of food disappears. Soory about the plants, how frustrating.

I hope you're right since at the moment it's most annoying. Some of the plants perked when I watered them but it'll be awhile before they're usable as herb resources

No problem. :)

Good luck with everything... I hate fruit flies. And I know it sucks mightily to be obligated to a project you absolutely don't want to do. Doing one as I speak, actually...

I'm thinking I'll have to do it.
