I think my new icon sums up how I feel about the world right now (especially disturbing to me is this need of ours to download videos of people dying such as some of the beheadings in Iraq some time back and now Steve Irwin's death).

I still feel like crap and I'm in a bad mood so to cheer myself up, here's some pimping for us.

For those BtVS/AtS writers on my list, leni_ba is running another Choose Your Author ficathons. It's a lot of fun. i've done the previous 4 and always got a good story out of it. Sadly, this time with them doubling my work load I just didn't feel I could commit to it this time out. Still, please check it out. CYA


I did however push my limits and sign up for the Spook 'Em Multi-fandom challenge. I mean, it's Halloween related. How could I resist. Besides for this one you write for yourself so you're not disappointing too many people if you don't get it done. Check it out. Who knows what fandom(s) I'll actually do. Spook ‘Em

Why does it not surprise me that it took all of 24 hours for that video to end up online. *sighs* That's horrible. What bothered me more were the reports today that it 'would probably never be broadcast.' Probably?! That's just horrible. It's a man's last moments. There's no need to broadcast that. Period.

I was thinking about joining nanomowhinging. I don't think I'll ever be able to do Nanomo because of the timing (Nov = Bad), but I have a couple of original characters rolling around in my head. I can't quite get their story straight, so I thought maybe that would help.

OMG tell me about Nov being a bad month. You just know Chris is male because no female would pick that month, all three major religions are busy at that point. Well even Pagans too.. I see you joined so welcome
