cornerofmadnessbecause karma is using me as a punching bag today. At least the check engine light didn't mean that I couldn't drive home. The garage in Chillicothe couldn't see me for over a week. Luckily the one in Athens (both are 50 miles away) can see me friday. I got the car home and dad came up with the thought, could be water in the gas line so I'm getting dry gas for it tomorrow and hoping. (since I had to fill it at a junky station on the trip home)
But before I got home I was informed, just like I said would happen, Medical Mutual fucked up our electronic enrollment and until this gets straightened out we can't get our prescriptions unless we pay for them and HOPE they'll reimburse us after the fact. Let me shoot HR.
Then Progessive still hasn't sent me my insurance cards (two months and counting) but they DID send me a bill for 15$ since they calculated the fees wrong...huh? Y ou should eat that for annoying the hell out of me.
Then I got a threatening letter in the mail that said my medical student loans, the HEAL loan, wants 80,000 by the end of the month or they'll take action. Hear me laughing. Bite me. Let's talk your slow bleeding my wages because unless I won that 85 mill last week you ain't seeing 80K and now to bleed off my savings account and see if they'll figure in a new car in their assessment of what I can pay. If not, guess who's buying a new car before the month's out?
the only bright spot? My brother called me from the casino tonight (yes this IS a family outing to us) to tell me he won 1250$ and yelled at me for not being there to see it and leaving him to celebrate with strangers. I might also add he got his doctorate in physical therapy on friday so there are now two Dr E's in my family.
