“Buffy, can I ask you something?” Willow glanced over at her firend. She, Buffy and Xander were busy decompressing after the horrors that had been the talent show by vegging by the tv.
“Sure, Will,” Buffy said, thinking more about the sad existence of one horny, little puppet who had once been a demon hunter. And here she thought being the Slayer was the worst thing ever.
“So long as it’s not about what happened on stage,” Xander said. “That shall be forever forgotten by all...Shakespeare.” He shuddered.
“How can a vampire slayer be frightened of a mere puppet?”
Giles S 1 - The Untalented
Giles belted back his third scotch. He wanted to get numb. It just had not been his day...not at all. Since coming to America, he felt like he had been going slowly insane. Buffy was a handful. Witches, bug women, vampires and now this. His skull had nearly been split open so his brain could be harvested. Thank god for Buffy and a puppet. A puppet! His mind didn’t want to even consider it. But what really had him running for the alcohol to forget the whole day, the talent show. The performer in him died a little today.
Angel, Connor & Dawn - Post NFA - Giggle Time
Angel walked into the living room to the sounds of laughter. Dawn and Connor snuggled so close on the couch they could have shared skin. Angel didn’t mind. This was normal, what he wanted for Connor. “What’s so funny?”
“Dawn’s new box set.” Connor pointed to the dvd box.
“The first season of The Muppet Show ,” Dawn offered with a giggle.
“I love Animal!” Connor assured him.
“I hate Muppets,” Angel grumbled.
“Could it be because you’ve spent time as one.” Connor’s blue eyes gleamed wickedly.
“Spike told!” Angel roared. The teens just howled.
“Wish I had seen!” Connor snorted.
