So I give my first Anatomy practical. only HALF my students show up. HALF! OMG, I should fail them all right now. Thank god for my nurses since at least they pass and pass well and make me feel like I'm actually teaching someone something. The other classes it's a freaking blood bath.

So I needed to go to Jackson this afternoon (my only early day) to take back a library book (when I got it home I found out why the cover was falling off. Someone pissed on it). But of course testing and school politics hang me up for hours. Now I'm starving because it's my early day and I didn't bring lunch and now it's so late that lunch is pointless.

And after feeling superior to southernbangel because i KNOW better than to shop hungry, I have to go to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. First I stop at CVS and holy hell my birth control pills are 100$ Shit they should be paying ME not to breed, you know? Okay so I go into the Wally World to get a bottle of wine (i'm not bringing good stuff to the faculty get togethers.) and some deodorant and I walk out with 100$ worth of crap. Meanwhile my cart is so heavy I can barely push it and I'm stamping around crying why doesn't anyone make vegetarian gyozas? Not that I don't have gyoza wrappers at home and could do it myself but i'm lazy. I did come away with atsu-age, and olives stuffed with feta AND ones stuffed with anchovies. I'm eating them now by the dozen. I can't eat enough of them and then had to get gin because everyone laughs when I drink the olive brine but no one laughs when you use it to make dirty martinis!

my life is just odd. Oh yeah i have less than a week to come up with 80 grand. who's helping me? Yeah help me laugh at the government that is. I'm so glad we don't have debtors prisons any more

I went to the store while hungry as well. Though I only walked out with $12 worth of things. And I still need light bulbs. Well, at least the fire alert thingy isn't beeping any more.

A & P Exam

Hey this is Rain, Jenn's weird friend.

I'm in A & P 1 this semester. We took our first exam on Monday this week. Our prof. even gave three questions for extra credit... only a handful of people did the extra credit (I'm one of them). Nearly 1/2 of the class failed even though they were there!! Jeez Louise! (I made a high B, btw.) Two girls next to me failed and I mean FAILED! One got a 35% and - don't scream - she works as a CNA!! All I can say is that I hope most of the kids/adults in my class (community college) don't make it as nurses.

Have you thought about ordering your pills online? I get three months of my prescriptions for the cost of one. You just have your doctor fax them the prescription.
