Giles S3 - Night Off

He was looking forward to this; Halloween, a day of rest for things that go bump in the night...in theory. Giles hadn’t seen it in practice in Sunnydale but he remained ever hopeful. Planning an early night, Giles treated himself to some smoky scotch and Pink Floyd then hoped to venture to the land of nod early and finally get in a good long rest. Relaxing in bed, sleep wouldn’t come as if his brain refused to accept it had a night off.

“Bloody hell.” Reluctantly Giles dragged himself out of bed and went to find his books.



Spike - How to Pass the Time

Spike hated the daylight hours. It was hard to come down from a good night of killing. He and Dru usually sweated up the sheets but even that didn’t put him to sleep. It had been murderous until they invented radios which distracted him. Radio gave way to TV and before he knew it, Spike was a soap opera junkie. All too soon he was following multiple shows. He and Dru had a ball mocking Dark Shadows . Daytime progressed to Bob Barker before Spike’s shows, like some little old lady. If anyone every found out, he’d have to kill them.
