Half Hour to D Day

The parents will be here. The house is barely cleaned. The hot water tank crapped out again. It's freaking frigid and we're going to two out door events. I'm off work today for one of those events, Bob Evans Farm Day. (quit laughing at me!) We're going to tour native american mounds tomorrow (this used to be mound builder land)

You can see I've been highly productive story wise so go me. (hey it beats cleaning)

Think I can make the parental units help me harvest the last of the green tomatoes and wrap them for ripening?

Oy! I remember going to Bob Evan's Farm Days. Getting apple dumplings and coffee that were so damned hot that the inside of your mouth would be so scalded that you'd need skin grafts. The cold wind blowing so hard that your eyes watered so much you couldn't see. Fond memories all.

(I had an aunt that lived in Jackson, OH, and we'd visit her often. That is how we wound up at Bob Evans' farm.)

Technically, I'm from the Charleston - Huntington, WV, area but I have had relatives in OH.
