It literally kept me awake last night. Tired as I was lying on that futon from hell, I couldn't sleep. Why? because the morons I call characters kept me awake. It went a little something like this.

Killian - Do like you did last year and make it a 50K combo of my story and another. Hell do you even know where you left of in my story? You better reread those 30K now.

Makai - hell she never even finished me and I'm two nano's ago

Yukio - Yeah I'm supposed to be the one you're writing. You PROMISED. So what if it's first person and I won't give you all the details you need to write

Kyros - Write my story. There's a bucket full of character pov's to chose from, to hell with the fact the plot is like pulling teeth

Tarran - No, write mine with evil_little_dog. With the both of you doing 50K the novel will be totally done in a month and to hell with the fact it'll be over so fast you won't even enjoy it.

Me - whimper sob shut up. I want to sleep.

Hmmm, mine's going something along that same way, you know. Though Sophie's still trying to get me to write about Jedidiah's trying to take over the Orlando Pack and the big showdown therein.

Now I'm glad I only have the one storyline going right now. I'd never get a word written if I had to choose between two or more--too many characters yammering all together jams my frequencies. Nope, y'all can have the multiple-story gig and welcome to it.

I hate when they won't let you sleep! It's even worse when you've coerced them all day to talk and got nothing. The minute you lie down and turn off the light, it's chatterbox time.

It's enough to make you want to murder them all.

But nobody ever does, because if you're like me the moment you pick up a pen/fire up the computer everybody shuts up and the word-stream that was pouring through your head a minute ago flies right out the window.

I may have a one-track mind, but at least my NaNo entry has a plot. Neener.
