Seriously nagging cough, go away now. I did my first turn as an advisor today. It went okay with the exception of professors are NOT allowed to override students into the classes. Only secretaries can...uh? What?

Hey did anyone else's directions to the voting place include 'turn off the pave road?' It was just me? Thought so. But hey they had computer ballots which is a step up from Florida who made me vote in the presidential race with a PENCIL! Hopefully everyone who could get out and vote did so.

I celebrated my freedom by making a test on evolution for everyone tomorrow. this is the easiest test i give in this class. And hey i think there'll be people taking my directed studies in reading primary literature so yay i might actually get paid.

And Kroger's had all the halloween stuff on sale for DIRT cheap. I mean like 80% off. I got the Marcus the Carcass thing I wanted (which was 25$) for 3.50. So i'm all stocked up on Halloween crap that I'll probabl have to haul if I move.

Also learning that spliting my nano into a couple of novels is making sure I don't progress far on any one. Why brain, why do you do this to me?

Glad you made it to vote -- despite the slightly sketchy directions. ;-)

And yay for Halloween stuff for cheap! Fun for next year. Me, I tend to forget where I put stuff if I buy it too far ahead of time though.
