I went to bed early for a change (go me), got to sleep only to be awaken by the damn critter chewing on the heating grate in my bedroom at quarter after one in the morning. The rain seems to be driving them in. (if it's not raining when i get home I'm going out there to see if I can block this off somehow). It's chewing SO loud I can't ignore it so I get a claw hammer and slam on the heating grate. I hear it take off in a hurry not to return.

But now i'm wide awake. ARGH.


then the student loan people who screwed me over left a message at work saying a) they're a collection ageny too so it doesn't matter who collects it them or the other agency (WTF? Why was i never told that this was sent to collection in the first place)and they haven't seen a payment from me since i sent 1000$ in august (WTF? I never paid ANYONE 1000$) but just call in and I can arrange to send that much every month no problem (Oh you think?) I'm not even sure this IS my debt at this point. They surely don't have a clue how much I paid on it or when.

Seriously, though, it's very possible it isn't you. I was getting calls one time from a collections agency, and we never could get ahold of each other, but they were saying I owed all this money and I was so many days late on my credit card - and it WAS a company I had a card with. So when I finally got ahold of them, it turns out it was a different person who had my same first and last name, but a different middle name (though the same initial), who lived in Charlotte, but our addresses were different, our social security numbers were different, and our mothers' names were different. So when they finally got that cleared up, they stopped calling me.

Maybe you'll be that lucky. :)

I should hope so. I mean I do owe that heal loan...but I sure as hell haven't paid them the money they think I have...
