I fail as a daughter

So, mom calls me tonight all fan girl squeeing over The Dresden Files Her and Dad caught it at teh 11pm showing last night. She almost called me at midnight to squee about it. I told her I was waching on tape just as she called. She was rather put out we couldn't discuss it yet (though I have to say I did like it)

Then she was very miffed that I didn't call to tell her Heroes was on tonight. I said I figured she knew. You could tell she thinks I fail as a daughter.

Then dad gets on to yell at me for the birthday card I sent (any chance I get to say happy birthday and slam 'em is good, love you Maxine) and he's just as fan boying over Heroes as mom. Dad likes Nikki (well not the character but the actress) and is surprisingly a Hiro fan to the point he's been online googling who's going to be guest appearing as Hiro's father.) Me, I taped tonight's eppy so i'll be avoiding my flist.

Snow melted here...and my sugar dive bombed tonight. SIgh.
