my day

You know when I was in WI I never even THOUGHT about checking for a snow day. Here it looks like a powdered doughnut and I'm doing the oooo cancel school dance. Of course they didn't.

at the twelve thirty class, I turn, my knee keeps going and dislocates. I whack my head off the chalkboard. I consider slumping to the floor and dying. Instead, just keep going without missing a beat. I KNOW it was the yoga. This has happened before. I loosen up the scar tissue around my joints and i hurt myself. I think scar tissue is the only thing holding me upright most days.

I had an eye doctor appt today. The good news is my vision is the same and nothing bad happened to my retinas thanks to diabetes so that's good. However, he dilates my pupils then sends me out into the night and a snow storm. WHEE to driving blind.

You know, the snow could be six feet deep and Atty would expect me to come into work on time.

I think it's more of a, "I can't believe that's happening to DANA" thing, you know.

Oh, she would. I'd have to dig out Connor Grey by hand and get frostbite and she'd ask me to type up 20 entries and by the way, recheck all my figures for her taxes.

Yeah, that would've sucked big time.

Well, I'm glad you're not going blind. You can have all the misfortune in the world, you know. You've got to save some for the people stuck in developing countries without women's rights or two-ply toilet paper.
