Mea culpa drabble
Jan. 30th, 2007 11:32 amUgh, I've had no time for drabbling late. Here's one for
open_on_sunday 'mea culpa' challenge.
Angel -Not Fade Away - I'm sorry
Maybe he should have taken some of the blame. Yes, a lot of it rested on Holtz’s shoulders and Connor’s, too. The boy was hardly blameless but Angel knew he should have been the better man. He was the adult, after all. Maybe he shouldn’t have pushed Connor so hard to fit into the dreams he had for his son. He certainly shouldn’t have tossed the boy out, waiting for him to come back. Angel had become his own father, not even realizing it, worse even. Now in a rainy alley, Angel knew it was too late to say I’m sorry.
