This new story idea of yours doesn't fit
30kisses,
4purposes,
smut_69,
color_i_fic,
7stages or
10_cliche_fics or even what I promised to do for
sarakat or
mzzgoddessblue. Okay yes it is in a fandom I'm doing but seriously points to the above list of commitments, do you see that? Yes I know
fic_frenzy starts tomorrow but that doesn't mean pick a new story. I don't care how cool you'll think it'll be. Don't do this to me.
Thank you
COM's Brain
So I was talking to mom tonight when dad gets on the phone. As a testament to his boredom (told you not to retire Dad), somehow he has found a site that had all the Shakespearan sayings that we still use today. He was stunned. I'm still not sure if he was disappointed or frightened that I knew exactly what plays most of them came from.
Which brings me to the latest J.D.Robb Eve Dallas mystery, this is set in 2060. You know I could live that long. This is the problem with near-future SF. Sometimes you know things just aren't going to change that much. we've been using shakespearan quotes for centuries. Do we honestly think 50 years from now we won't know what 'needle in a haystack' means? (or that Eve is so clueless that she doesn't know when you throw your best friend a baby shower you need to buy a cake and gifts?)
