for all the really sweet Valentine's. I really appreciate them

I'm still bumming around relaxing and thinking about tonight's romantic dinner...for one. Ginger orange shrimp and a braccioli salad sounds good to me with maybe some of that pinot noir I have.

Well at least I have yummy chocolate and a loving, purring cat to keep me warm.

Someday I would like to be able to actually celebrate Valentine's day. Not because I believe in it; just because I've never been able to celebrate Valentine's day.

even when i was seeing someone I never bothered. It's really not my day. I'd take the purring cat though

hee, this time i cheated. It's called rip open a box of Contessa ginger orange shrimp

Braccioli is dried beef found in Italian markets. I just take a salad (in a bag) add in what i want (tomatoes, fresh mozzarelli etc) and the you layer it with the meat and drizzle with EVOO and lemon juice

Mmmmmm, shrimp. I love shrimp. :)
(I'm embarrassed to say that I had to google braccioli, cause I had no idea what it was.)
But what a great dinner! With food like that, dinner for one ain't so bad. Now, dinner for one over a cold bowl of cereal or nuked beefaroni... Deeeepressing...

it was the Contessa brand frozen shrimp. The stuff's decent and easy.

Wow I spelled braccioli right? My great grandparents were illiterate since they never really went to school so i tend to spell Italian words phonetically.
