Absolutely disgusted

If I DO stay here another year, I will FIND a way to fit the laundry appliances into the laundry closet (it's made a few inches too small for those who've forgotten that trauma)


I'm at the laundromat today, there's a woman just putting her stuff in the dryers as I get there. We exchange smiles as I toss my stuff into the washers and go to the library. As I get there to take out my stuff to put into the dryers, she's packing to leave. It smells like dog poop in there but I don't think much of anything. I lever out all the wet clothes and go to the dryer. In front of one of hers (now empty) is a couple of dog turds. I thought a mutt had gotten into the laundromat since the door doesn't shut. Then I look into the dryers she had been using and there are little turds in there too.

I race over to the other side and use THOSE dryers. I'm just praying that i did NOT use the same washers as this woman. Worse she was wearing surgical scrubs. If she really is in health care, I'm going to be even more sick.

I wonder if she even knew about it! (My cat once got thrown across the room for showing her displeasure with my 55-hour workweek by pooping on one of my jackets...)

That kind of inappropriate behavior is why we bought our first washer and dryer when we were college students, renting an apartment.... I LOATHE public laundries.

as do I. I don't mind them TOO much when it's the apt only ones but the public ones. Vile. but the washer and dryer can't FIT in the stupid W/D hookup area. I could kick my landlord.
