cornerofmadness: Angel in drag holding up cards (Lemme Sleep by <lj user="sleepdebtfairy")

i had such a restless night that not only was the bedding on the floor but i had wiggled off the bottom sheet, the bed pad AND the memory foam. Don't remember the dreams but they must have been something.

Today didn't go well. I had to work (so much for me getting anything ready for [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog's visit tomorrow) on my day off for visitation day. So i had to run to the laundry early. Figures this would be the day that NEITHER dryer worked and i had no time to redry anything.

Not only that, as i put my clothes in the dryer and head back to the library where i wait, the lady who left shit in the machines last time comes back in. Eeewww. Then I'm at the library where a woman with a baby about 3-4 months old is using the computers along with her mom. the woman is about my size if not a tad heavier. She sets baby on the floor with a fuzzy mat and he's fairly okay. Mom is wearing a denim skirt split so high I cna see her undies. ALL of them. She and her mom proceed to persue a site about laundry machines and how they stack up (so I now know what to buy because she's SO DAMN LOUD). At one point in this she goes 'ooo you have a poopy diaper, i think you do' A proceeds to do the Mom patented stick your finger in the diaper to feel. THAT didn't bother me. She then does NOT wipe her hands and proceeds to use the mouse on teh computer. I swear I'm going to turn into Monk and carry wipes with me everywhere. And what really bothered me? The librarian sees me leaving and apologizes for the noise and offers me a 'quiet area' I said no that's okay I'm just going to get my laundry, but in the back of my head I'm thinking if you KNOW they're this disruptive why don't you tell them to shut the hell up?

I then go to walmart and whip thru but i have less than 20 minutes to get down to the school on time. It'll take me nearly twice that. So that's life. I DO run home to grab another glucose-free diabetic shake for lunch and to put my cold food including the chicken dinner for tonight, in the fridge.

I get to the school and it goes okay. The students were cool. But when i get home i see somehow i put the cold food on the floor, proceeded to fridge to get my shake without the food and left it there. Guess Roy gets a chicken breast for dinner tomorrow. Head desk. At least i have plenty of baked ziti with dual sauces and smoked mozzarella left to eat.

Then I got all my cheap knick knacks from Collectibles Etc. The box was burst on both sides and I wasn't pleased. Now this stuff is cheap. You pay little and expect less. The bamboo windchimes on the quad-pod was cheap but nice. The Japanese gong clock was heavy duty, nice, with real wood and screws but the hands were bent to the point of uselessness. I fixed that after debating sending it back but i got it working but it's SO loud that i can hear it ticking over my tv set up on 25 (which is loud enough for me to hear Sirius radio in the whle apt.) I think i'll pull out the batteries and just leave it as a fun decoration.

However the rain drum? Cheap tin. I mean CHEAP. I mean coming apart, bits breaking all over my carpet, me cutting myself cheap, me unable to screw it together cheap. sigh.

i think i'm just going to decompress for the rest of the day and [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog can live with the mess since hell she knows I'm not Martha Stewart (Rachael Ray, yes but no to martha)

Roy will be out there. I bought a slew of vodka. I think i still have pomegrante mix and i have sugar free appletini. Oh and rum and mojito mix, and wine, and beer, and that bourbon. Oh and sake....only tastes like lighter fluid

My goodness, what a day! The library experience alone... ugh. I'm with you on the Monk wipes.

*HUGS YOU*

Because when it rains, it pours! And though I never really have a need to use the library computer, I will for sure NEVER use it now! That's just disgusting!

[profile] x_expat assures me this isn't true but I've had that stuff. I think it'd go over for cleaning lawn mowers.
