i love it when days off turn out to be harder, longer and more aggravating than actually going to work. Well 600$ later the car is fixed. When I told my dad that they charged me 280$ in labor (that's 140$/hr everyone, that's more than I made as a surgeon in for my daily work and the sad thing is I KNOW the mechanic sure as hell ain't seeing that) he immediately started looking at Toyota for me. We had much better luck with them and their parts weren't QUITE as overinflated as Honda. Definitely thinking of trading Yukio in this fall. it's time.

At least I got a little bit of writing and editing done but the afternoon kinda brought nausea...something I ate at Max & Erma's or stress or sugar. Who knows. Speaking of eating out, OMG how rude can people be. Cell phones are such a blight. I found something worse than a teen with a cell phone. Someone in the grey-haired set with loss of hearing. He spent my ENTIRE meal screaming into the phone. Want to know how many people they need to send to Terra Haute to pick up the pace car and three others? Just ask me. Bet I even know where they are staying. Honestly, if you're this fucking deaf, go outside and scream into your phone. The whole restaurant doesn't give a damn. Some of us are trying to hold our own conversations. Some of us are reading. NONE of us want to hear you

At least there were raspberry martinis tonight. Speaking of tonight, it's Son Goku's birthday. (points to icon) yes I can remember character birthdays...probably better than i can my friends birthdays (because I suck). Hmm in under 4 months he went from annoying monkey to me writing about him...and much like Connor he's learned getting MY attention isn't always a good thing

I really like toyotas. We own a toyota echo, and it (and the company) has a great track record with us - plus it gets great gas mileage. The echo model has since been replaced by the 'yaris'. It's cute too. It looks like a dinner roll on wheels :)

I was looking at a Corolla which were what my first two cars were but now that Toyota is making a lot of higher end cars, the Camry which is the step up from the Corolla is only about 4 grand more.

My first two cars were Corollas. one of my co-workers has a Yaris, too small. I'm looking at the Camry which is actually the same price now for a lot more than either the Corolla or the Civic were 8 years ago when I bought the Civic

I used to have a celica GT hatchback (many, many moons ago), white with gold racing stripes down the side. God I loved that car. Now, I feel guilty for the massive gas consumption of our roadtrek, and thusly appease myself by also having a very affordable, fuel efficent... dinner roll.

Oh and I really like camrys. We've looked at those too. Great cars and last forever.

A $140/hour labor charge? That's just insane!!! I don't know how those dealership owners sleep at night charging that much! Crazy!

And I agree with the phone thing. Nothing annoys me more than to try to have a nice meal and have it ruined by someone screaming into their phone, or heck talking loud in general. I've had those kind too. I just want to beat them over the head with my bread stick!

People now days totally think the world revolves around them! Annoying!
