mzzgoddessblue got me started on this idea and 0_mother_0 did likewise today. So follow me through the 80's (note, I went to college in a ridiculously religious town and they kept color correcting my hair since NO ONE would have purple/blue hair right?)


1974 second grade…mom was backlashing against my use of only black crayons in art

So I should mentally picture all the photos of you in college with blue/purple hair? Cool. I had purple hair once and it looked great, unfortunately it didn't last very long and I look absolutely scary with a bleach job.

my entire sorority was like me. Mostly English majors and drama majors. Alpha Sigma Tau. I was in for 4 years and an officer for 3 1/2 (yes I DO take over most anything I'm in)

Ah, my first taste of freedom wasn't until the 90s. And that was pretty rough going for a while, for various reasons. Though today I can say that freedom ultimately worked out pretty well for me. It helped to pretty much chuck everything my parents taught me, among other things.

Now I'm afraid to post mine. The costume is cool. The 80's. Sigh. Youth. I'm getting depressed. I never had purple hair, it was more magenta. I never had it "big". Just tried (in vain) to spike the top. Great pictures.
