Would your Connor have chosen himself to have his memory erased and re-written, and does he resent Angel at all for making that choice for him?

ooo good one and I've worked various permutations of this.

I think he would have chosen something in between. he needed the knowledge implanted or else he'd be working at McDonalds the rest of his life and he knows it. But having his memories, his life erased bothers him.

He partly resents Angel having done it without asking but knows that he was in no condition to make that choice for himself. His anger and resentment or his acceptance and gratitude wax and wane with the usual teenaged hormonal mood swings

If you're writing Connor post AtS series, did Angel survive or not. And if not, what makes Connor tick without Angel around? Is he the vengeful kind? Or does he turn all hero and simply fight because it's right. Maybe he just falls apart and does nothing. Opinions? You're the Connor expert!

thanks! I would like to get back to the one series I had going where Connor thinks Angel did NOT survive and is all vengeful and half insane.

I haven't tried him turning all hero and taking up his Dad's cause but I could see him doing that.

Falling apart and doing nothing, hmmm another interesting idea.

However in most of my stories, Angel survives and he and Connor achieve an understanding and learn to work together. (and we usually toss in Spike just for the fun of it)

that's a tough one. But honestly probably a tie between Hyperion's Son and Built on Lies.

I like drug-addict Connor mostly because it depicted all the things that could have gone wrong with Angel's spell and it also highlights the things they all did wrong (and right). It's been an interesting writing experience (that I need to get back to as soon as finals are over)

I know Built on Lies was only popular in certain circles because of the Buffy/Connor ship but I like this Connor because he's pretty much at ease with himself, with what he is and what Angel means to him. I'd still love to finish the sequel to this one day.

Probably anger at first for Angel NEVER telling him about this possibility and then probably joy. It would probably then morph into protectiveness since Angel would be on par with Wesley and Gunn, a good fighter but still human

What does your Dawn thing of herself and her keyness post-Chosen?

Dawn has begun to learn her own self worth separate from her sister's shadow. She doesn't need to be a Slayer to be special. Nor does she need to angst about how she was made. Her keyness is a part of her and its given her some unique abilities or maybe being a polyglot is natural for her. She doesn't really care any more. She knows she's unique and is learning to be content with that.


I think occasionally at his darknest moments Hakkai does regret knowing Kannan. Raised in a catholic orphanage, even if he doesn't believe, the idea of guilt is probably well planted in him. He knows what they did is wrong. He worries that people will think less of him if they know.

He has to wonder occasionally if knowing her ruined his life. He lost everything he had right down to his humanity. the job he loved and his home all gone. And yet when he looks at his companions he knows he wouldn't be there, be where he was needed without her

I like to give Dawn a little maturity. I also often pair her up with Connor since they're both unique and i think they work well as a result (that's my smut_69 claim that is taking me forever to do)

Yeah, Conner and Dawn are a nice couple to get together; I think they'd understand each other and their various parental/existance issues well. I can't wait to start reading your smut for them. ^_^

art appreciation
a slight chill
First steps (which is number one in this series) all four are smut 69...yeah that's as far as I ever got.

Cheated in so many ways. He still has those warm feelings for him and sometimes that just depresses Connor. it would be easier if he could just hate the man but he doesn't. He can understand the burning need for revenge and while he can't fault Holtz for keeping him alive in hell, he also knows the man cheated him out of his normal life. Connor knows this man took him to kill him. He's very conflicted.

Roy avoids the whole issue for most of the day and just uses the stand up urinals at teh office (rather hoping Armstrong won't make a habit of popping out of the stalls at him) At home he puts the seat back down but mostly because he's afraid Riza will shoot him.

And if Black Hayate is visiting, the whole toilet gets closed off

They're still arguing about this. And comparing notes and swapping stories. I think they're about to get into a fist fight. Roy says he goes for higher quality women and that's more work. Gojyo maintains he's picky about the tarts he picks up. Havoc is sitting on the sidelines taking notes.

Connor's glaring at you and wondering why he keeps getting to fight demi-gods. Goku's pretty sure Connor can take him so long as Goku's wearing his power limiter. Connor's certain Goku would play cat's cradle with his guts if that limiter was gone

it's not written per se. It's the fifth sun series. It's told from a different characters pov each time. So far we only have Angel and Spike and Connor was meant to be next
