The geckos are taking refuge INSIDE the refrigerator (which raises the whole ewww level) Three times one has jumped on me this morning. I'm fairly sure it's the same gecko and damn, those things are fast.

Umm... How are they getting in?

This new fridge has the worst seals known to man. It goes in between the freezer and fridge and drops onto the seal which is where I assume it's ACTUALLY sitting until I open the door and then it goes in further to get away from me.

Remember Ghostbusters, and that scene with the kingdom of satan or something in the fridge? I was imagining that, only with gecckos. [laugh]

I'm just as glad as it wasn't anything that exciting. Two nights ago I heard voices laughing in the living room and the clinking of glasses like someone was having an intimate party and last night there was a very sweet perfume floating in the living room at 3AM

[laugh] Maybe it is the geckos. Your living room could be the hot dating spot for geckos in your neck of the woods... :)

You could always make a bunch of little "Bring Your Own Bottle" signs, and post them around the living room...

Yeah and watch the ghosts take it out on me. I've been waking up for weeks with finger marks on my shoulders like I'm being held to the bed.

Is it the Geico Gecko? Because then, while on the downside, you would have a gecko in the fridge - there'd probably be good news. You'd be saving money on car insurance.

Haha. He's probably my new mascot. I HAVE their car insurance and it's not saving me any money let me tell you. (But that's Florida's fault)

What's a gecko? This (http://www.elmwoodedge.com/middle/six/adaptation/animages/gecko.jpg)? (that's what I came up when I searched). It makes sense but it's scary!

I'm talking ones that look like the Common House Gecko from Bali Indonesia (and given how many invasive exotics Florida has it probably IS that gecko)

They are cute, although I'd freak out if I had them next to me, lol. But they seem pretty harmless.

Lizards and such don't freak me out. It's spiders. Like the one on my bedroom ceiling this week or in the luandry basket. That's what makes me freak

Well, yeah... besides once you spot a spider, don't you wonder how long it's been there and if it has walked over you in your sleep, for example? (Ok, not helping, am I?)

Not really. Trust me I'm far more okay with that lizard walking on me than I am that spider or roach

we've had rats too (I live on a state park's border so wildlife comes to visit). Geckos are MUCH less disgusting than the Florida Roach trust me.
