so finally a free moment

My family has had me running all over the place. Finally getting a chance to sit down which is good since i'm in two writing challenges right now and i'd like to actually write something, not to mention i still owe feedback for my writers group.

x_expat's journal informs me it's national hug your cat day (and june is adopt a cat month), well between my brother and my aunt, i have access to 7 kittens (not to mention 4 full grown cats). The kittens are cute evil. I can't keep any of them but they are cute. I'll try to get pictures.

Outside having coffee on the back porch, mom leans over and grabs my hair and says 'you have something white in it' yank yank. "oh it's your hair. WHY is your hair going white in spots like a cat.' because i'm a freak mom. She promptly dyed it and cut it (helps to have a hair dresser mom)

i haven't forgotten the kink challenge. I haven't had time to write anything but i will. promise

Oh lord, your poor hair. At least my kids just make fun of my grey hair, they don't go around yanking it.

I no longer have a cat to hug, and we aren't adopting any more kitties (or any more animals at all for a while...). But I send hugs to all the cats and kitties of the world, and maybe you can give those little ones a hug for me as well :)

Oh, and don't be ashamed of your gray hairs. I have tons of them. I have a streak under my hair (you only see it when I pull my hair back) by my right temple and a smaller on by my left temple. I'm hoping that I'll be able to pull off bride of frankenstein soon, without any hair makeup! (I'll try to get some pics of my grayness and post them on my LJ, maybe tomorrow...).

so the local vet has some kitties looking for homes, and i'm soooooo tempted. i have to keep telling myself that i live in rented accommodation, i already have two cats (and a dog), that i'm currently unemployed so money is a factor, that one more kitty is going to cost me for vaccinations, and then desexing when it's older plus flea and tick stuff etc - but i mean, it's a kitty!!! wanting a home!!!! And like you said, June is adopt a cat month. :sigh:
