Therapy and another question for the peanut gallery

the question first. Does anyone else have the original Star Trek season one dvd? Got mine from Ebay. they said they weren't Asian knockoffs and while nothing is in any Asian script the discs do NOT have the shows in order (example disc on is episodes 6,8 2, and 7) I just want to know are they out of order on everyone else's dvd's or did i get gyped?

therapy went okay. My brother hooked me into a traction device that I'm fairly sure the Torquemada invented. My older cousin who hasn't seen me in years owns the physical therapy office my brother works in and he asked if i were the younger sister. My vain brother was so not impressed.

Um, have you been reading my LJ? I got mine from Amazon, and the blurb there tells you the episodes are in air date order, not filming/written order. Which is why I'm constantly flipping disks in and out to watch them in order by number.

It's so odd that they chose to order the discs by air date instead of 'in order' - and even weirder that the shows didn't air in order... I know of no other tv shows where that was the case or the norm. I wonder if there are others though...

Firefly. I've found that if a new show is floundering the execs make them put on the big splashy shows. Ditto for 'weird' shows that they think the audience won't get. I'm just happy they didn't try that with Heroes or Buffy. Buffy only had one that showed out of order that I know of and that's because of Columbine

Agreed, that would have totally screwed up BtVS as each episode is a continuation of the last. And I hadn't noticed that about Firefly...

that's one of the reasons the fans give for firefly's quick cancelation (other than it was boring) was it was out of order and WTF
