As for me, one of my best friend's husband has MS and I lost a college friend to it. As a doctor, I watched patients wither and die slowly from it. It's a terrible disease so if you'd like to donate a little then go check out the link.

Thanks so much for sharing my link. Every day I creep a little closer to my goal. Now I'm at 55%. So yay to that. ^_^ I've almost got another $25 in the donation jar I carry around with me too. Thanks again for sharing it. It's a terrible disease, but we have made a LOT of progress treating it. I can remember when I first got involved with fundraising for MS that it was so poorly understood that it was almost impossible to diagnose. Now we know so much more. Sean hasn't been so fortunate in his treatment, but Brenda so far is holding her own very well. The more we can research, the more ways we can find to treat it, arrest it, slow it down, and maybe eventually cure it and heal the damage. I want to see it in my lifetime. Hell, I want to see it now.

not a problem. I meant to do so earlier but with me at my parents' house it's been hectic. My friend's husband is doing well to the point I wonder if they're even right in their diagnosis since he's been mostly asymptomatic for more than a decade.

Good luck with the ride. I need to see if the diabetes walk in the Columbus zoo is happening and to get my student going for that. I can do that (since running is out of the question and bikes scare me, motorcycles don't but things I have to pedal...) I used to love doing that diabetes walk
