1. I lost 5 pounds walking around Vegas.

2. that slice across my foot was like being a neosporin commerical. I treated it (unlike the gouge the cat scratched into me the week earlier and no one told me we HAD neosporin) the wound healed beautifully, (scarred but that's to be expected) while the cat one is still puttering about until today when it finally seems done with closing.

As to the cat wound -- I'm sure lack of neosporin had a lot to do with that, but I've discovered (from friends' experiences and vets' comments) that cat scratches can get infected and be really bad, very easily. I guess their claws are way less clean than we think, even if they clean their fur very well.

I have a gouge from my cat that she made when we were at the vet's in March. It's finally healed, but it's still red.
