mixed bag kind of day
Aug. 12th, 2007 09:57 pmBad - started off with slicing open my thumb trying to peel the metallic safety seal off my diabetic breakfast shake. Who knew a thumb had so much blood
good - went to Krogers and the king crab legs were on sale for 12.99$ however they rang up at their 30$ price tag. So I show them the sale sign (which they remove so they can go check on it) and they not only give me back the 17$ difference but 5$ for it ringing up wrong. bonus, crab legs AND money.
good - got all the tests graded
bad - leaned on the balcony railing with my arm and the whole damn support column broke off, cracked teh sofia and fascia and could conceivable tumble the roof and the landlord wasn't around. Must tell him tomorrow (nearly fell on my ass in the process)
bad - sugar went boom (eat right and suffer apparently)
and hey now that I've finished HP7 and I'm looking for stuff to read, how about picking some stuff from my reading list for me. I'll surely review it. so check out my reading list and find me something good to read
ETA - speaking of books and souless corporations both Avril Lavigne AND Disney have manga out there. Avril, i dont' even want to know but DISNEY, please no.

Date: 2007-08-13 07:30 am (UTC)Avril Lavigne's manga is appalling, and I feel the urge to rip it to pieces every time I see it. At least Courtney Love's Princess Ai is actually a collaboration between her and some Japanese manga artist? Avril's has art that looks like those Bratz dolls.
