random crap
Aug. 23rd, 2007 12:10 amWell, after finding the perfect mattress at Macy's (with a super sale starting next week) I find out they won't deliever to my area (not from ANYWHERE that Macy's is cross country). Sigh. Of course I haven't tried the Sealy stuff yet. I want memory foam for two reasons a) it was originally designed to cut down on diabetic ulceration (so firm mattresses aren't that swift for me) and b) i need the cushion to help with my hypermobile joints which dislocate on hard beds.
This is no big deal. I'll just go up to Big Sandy's when I get home. I can test all the Sealy's I want. I was also planning to buy a bed as well since i don't have a grown up bed, just a frame with pillows for headboards. JCPenny's had great sales on. Big Sandy's online stuff is a) too big b) too expensive. However, Big Sandy's says 'we do NOT want you transporting this stuff or setting it up. You could get hurt. We do EVERYTHING, including unpacking, assembling and removing the old mattress" Penny's on the other hand said, 'we only deliver it to the house. we NOT unpack or assemble it nor do we remove the old bed. Um Guess who can go bite me? Can you imagine that? What if I were my 90 year old granny buying a mattress and Penny's would do no more than toss it on your front porch?
onto other stuff, my knee hurts. No, HURTS. I have arthritis and I've had surgeries. I know that pain. THIS is something new and horrible. I can't lift my leg at all. It's a nerve type pain that radiates whenever i try to bend my knee. It started two days after I broke my toe. At first I thought it was just the arthritis acting up since I was leaning on this side more to get off the broken bones. Now, it's such an intense pain it wakes me up and trying to say, lift my knee to get up out of a chair or worse, into the car, the pain is nauseating. I've had surgery on this knee that's hurt less. Driving back to OH tomorrow is going to suck.
