Paul Perrette from NCIS, the fabulous Abby, was on the season premiere of America's Most Wanted (21 years and I almost never miss it). I think I would like this woman if I were to ever meet her. She has the same house rules i do for AMW. You do NOT call me when it's on and if you're in my house, you sit on the couch and watch it quietly.
Anyhow, she wanted to be a detective when she grew up and having watched the show with her boyfriend (from Detriot) they say two child murders, one in detroit from close to where he's from and one in the south right next to her home town so she decided to get involved. They took her to the crime scenes, using her popularity as a vehicle to revisit these murders and she's offering 10K in award money for each case. I think that's kinda cool (if you're interested in the cases go to amw.com
there was more I planned on saying but my brain is soft and oozing out my ears

Date: 2007-09-11 12:25 pm (UTC)Abbey is my favorite character on NCIS (not that I watch or like it much - but still I've seen it). It's great the actress is getting involved and putting some money up to help.
I wish I could go there and feel out the scenes, cause the details are so scant... It seems no one saw anything (one minute she was there, the next she was gone) and all forensic evidence was destroyed in the fire. Really almost nothing to go on. I'd be VERY interested in the tipster that phoned in. It sounds very much like a random pedophile act, but the burning makes me think 'young familiar' for some reason...
