When they met up for a second time, something clicked. Maybe it was their shit upbringings. He thought he hated his father, well two of the three of them. She hated her mom for not doing more for her, for being drunk. As they talked and slayed and screwed, they realized that it wasn’t hate, it was betrayal. They learned forgiveness for parents that were only human – more or less – and for themselves and their mistakes. Connor didn’t know exactly when two damaged people learned love but even if they never really said it, he and Faith were in love.
