So...imagining a major disaster with having to drill out that ancient filling in an upper molar seemed to have averted said disaster. In fact it was fast (well since the filling was practically falling out, who's surprised, right?). Still numb so not sure if it'll hurt or not but yay. It didn't crack. We were very worried about the tooth just falling apart.
