They had been gathering points for information and town gossip back in his mortal life, as well as places to forget his troubles. Or, in his case, cause himself many more. They had helped to end his life and then gave him an endless supply of unwitting victims. Redeemed, Angel still found himself in them as needed. Still, the last thing he wanted to see was his son in one, drowning his sorrows. “Connor, is there anything I can do?”
