Author's Note- this was for the kink meme way back in May. This is for 0_mother_0 who wanted Buffy/Riley and old socks (don't look at me, I just do what I'm told. I think this is the first time I've ever written this pairing)


All Buffy wanted to do was collapse and sleep for a week. If her brain hadn’t been so sleep-fogged, Buffy would have gone to her dorm room instead of Riley’s place in the frat house. At this early hour, the house was eerily quiet, something most students attending the raucous parties would never be able to imagine.

Buffy glanced over at Riley. Even though he had put in a hard night of demon hunting, he looked good in his corn-fed way. Buffy suspected she looked like she had gone under a tank. He smiled as she shimmied out of her shirt. Buffy sat down to peel off her socks.

”Let me,” Riley said, sitting down next to her on the bed.

“What?”

Riley picked up her foot, kissing her cotton-socked arch.

Buffy made a face. “Eww, my feet are sweaty.”

“I know, that’s the appeal.” Riley grinned at her.

“You crazy foot freak.” Buffy laughed. The look Riley gave her promised all sorts of sweaty goodness if she’d let him play with her socks. Who was she to complain?
