You know, this f-list and the Cauldron are the only places I see Yule or Solstice greetings and celebrations. The rest of the world is all "Christmas! Christmas!" It's always a comfort to the "others" to see our special days honored--makes you feel a little less eccentric.
I got an enormous...envelope? padded bag?...in the mail today, so your package has officially arrived safely. I did manage to turn the doll's updo from hell into merely Tina Turner's worst wig day, but that is way too much hair for a head that small. She matches the Barbie I already have, though, right down to the pink earrings drilled into the sides of her head.
i know and even here we can catch flake for celebrating our own co-opted holiday.
That's it. One thing wouldn't fit in a normal box (bet you can guess which one). That doll I found at St. Vincent De Paul's. I thought she might be Breyer sized. If she's not usable toss her. Freakish isn't she?
