Disclaimer - Mr. Whedon owns all. All of these drabbles are PG-13 and hey, even got a running theme again.

Lindsey POV,  Historical
Lindsey stared at the little white square of paper that had been returned in the mail, stamped refused. Tears welled but didn’t spill. He thought his parents would want to come to his law school graduation, that they’d be proud of what he’d accomplished. The returned invitation told another story. He hadn’t been forgiven. He was still a sell-out, greedy. To his parents, he would always be the boy who was too ashamed of them to bring his friends over. Ask his father and he’ll tell you, his boy worshiped Mammon, not God. Their refusing his invitation hurt beyond words.
Angel  POV Future
Angel couldn’t help the grin on his face. He slipped the Stanford graduation invitation into the art book filled with his sketches of all his fallen friends. They were all gone now, except Spike and Connor, lost to that final battle. No matter where he traveled, Angel made sure his son knew where he was and it paid off. He received a short letter in the invitation, asking how he was, saying Connor knew Angel wouldn’t come back to California - he never did, not after his losses in that battle - but please, could he make an exception? For Connor, anything.

Anya POV S 6
Her tears hit the pale parchment paper, clinging to the entwined embossed rings. She hadn’t sent out many invitations, mostly just to Xander’s family. After all, most of her friends were in the wedding. How could seeing a simple piece of paper break loose such a flood of emotions? What kind of man leaves the woman he says he loves standing at the altar? What had she done wrong? He had turned this invitation into a lie. There was no love, no forever after. It was torn asunder before it was ever joined together. She would make him hurt for this.
Angel POV Future
Angel opened a letter, shocked by it. The words tore at him.
Dear Dad,
I was going to be sending out wedding invitations this weekend. I should have been asking you to come to Hawaii so you could at least come to the reception. Allison is gone now. Vampires. When I’m done with them, I’ll join you. I was wrong. This fighting thing is for me. With her gone, it’s the only reason for me to live. You lost Cordy. You can’t be with Buffy I know you’ll understand how I feel. Don’t worry about me. See you soon.
Connor

Giles POV S 2
Giles eased his battered body onto the hard hotel bed. His lungs ached from smoke inhalation. He couldn’t go home. It was still a crime scene. Lying there, he wracked his brain trying to remember when he had invited Angel to his home. He didn’t remember doing it. He usually took pains to meet the vampire in the library. Maybe the kids had done it in the line of duty. It didn’t matter who had done it, only that someone had and Angelus took that invitation to leave him a present. Jenny. Thinking on her, Giles wept.
Angel  POV S1
Angel sat in a dark corner of the bar, drinking slowly as he thought about all the ramifications. He had gotten into Kate’s home uninvited. How? What did it mean? Had any other vampire ever gotten around the needed invitation before? Did it mean he and Kate had some strange intimate connection they didn’t know about. There had been some kind of heat between them that they both fought hard to ignore. Now he couldn’t but it was too late to explore it. She had left the city, left him. All he had now were questions with no answers.
Connor/Cordy S4
"You said he couldn’t get in here," Connor snapped. "This is my home."
"I don’t know, Connor," Cordelia replied. "Angel couldn’t even get into Fred’s room inside his own hotel. He shouldn’t have been able to get in here. I mean, yeah it’s a warehouse but you’ve made it your home." She shrugged as they cleaned up the damage down by Wolfram and Hart’s men. "Still, I guess we’re lucky he did get in here."
Connor snorted. "I could have handled them." His eyes went flat as he whispered, "I know what it means. Angel’s too much a part of me."

Love both the Angel POV for the future - though the one about Connor losing his fiance' is a killer. *WAH!*
