Getting ready for bed

For the last time here in FL. Trying not to be sad. I know I've said it a lot but I'll say it again. THANKS to Evil Little Dog. If not for her letting me stay in her home I would never have been able to afford to stay in school. so THANKS for making this possible. I've been here three years, longer than I've lived anywhere since 1993. It'd be a little easier knowing I had a good job waiting. Maybe I do despite what it looks like now. My car's all pack. I'm leaving a lot of stuff here in case this job really only is 4 months. I'll be in PA like I said for a little more than a week with my parents, running to lawyers and doctors then I head to WI where I don't have internet access yet.

But as a final hurrah I won a ton more awards this weekend. In the Dark Awards Once Upon a Midnight Dreary (my happy little Dru, Connor, Faith christmas story) won best action and runner up for best AR and Drama

False Tomorrows, By Buffy/Lindsey fic won for best dark shipper

and Perks of the Job where Lilah tries for a day off got ru up in the Lilah category

 

In the Bodice Ripper awards (Giles centric and looking for round 2 nominations) One for Sorrow (Giles/Jenny) won judges choice and runner up for best angst

 

And my current baby, Hyperion's Son won best WIP in the Of Stakes and Spells awards (also taking nominations)

 

And check out the AtS/BtVS stoner ficathon  and read the cool Connor/Faith fic written for me by tinpanalley called Make Me Forget It's really good. Nothing like a little Faith & Connor on acid.

 

Thanks for all the traveling well wishes. I need to get to bed now.

Congrats on the awards and you know you can always come back. I'm gonna miss having supper on the table when I get home and getting dragged out to places I normally wouldn't go to on my own. *grin*

But if you get to stay in WI, don't worry, I will come pay visits. Oooo, Wisconsin. Cheese. The Dells. House on the Rock. OOOoOoo!
