Yes, it's true, I finally love Scar. Why? HE MADE MEI GO AWAY. I would have had his children had he the forethought to force her ass to the border and kick it across but he didn't so, no sex for him.

My one hope is Envy gets her killed in Central (yes, I really do dislike her that much. My journal, not apologizing for it) I'm sure Pride or Wrath will gladly do it or better yet Greed!Ling since she was an enemy to begin with (still haven't forgiven Ran Fan for not doing the deed)

Things I did like : Riza in the creepy zone with Bradley. She's tough. Olivia, I finally almost like her too. The way she treated her brother is exactly how I expected she would and the thing in the basement revealed to her was very creepy.

But there was more that I didn't like to this than I did.

Minor irritants - it's becoming the Mei/Marcoah show and it gives us back Rose. Okay one of my favorite parts of the manga is its lack of Rose. (though at this point I'm seeing a very disturbing Rose/Hoho vibe)

Major irritants - No Ed, no Roy. But even more problematic than that is I had REAL trouble with Al's characterization this time.
I don't find it credible Al and Winry would not go look for Ed. Are they really that overconfident in his abilities to survive? Even Envy seemed surprised.

What could be in Lior that is more important than Ed? It damn well better be something good to justify going after it.

I also don't buy that Al couldn't understand a thing about Mei's alchemy. At. All. Al is a boy genuis, just like Ed. Unless Mei's the worst teacher in the world Al had to take something from it. I'm rather hoping he was trying to mislead someone, Scar? Yoki? Mei? It's STILL alchemy, he had to have understood something

And another real problem for me is time passages. It's looking like a matter of hours is passing when it must be days. It had to take a while for Mei to get to Yousell. Lior is an easter desert city. Al and company are in the Briggs Mts to the north. I was left feeling like they had bullet trains. Not asking for much, maybe just a blip in the corner saying three days later... and this means Ed has been uncounted for for days if not weeks. He's probably healed by now...though who knows how.

See? Scar is good for something, even if I liked Mei. (That has me a little worried) For some reason I liked his older brother a little more. I was always sad when he died.

Al SHOULD have understood SOMETHING. Possibly it was her own cultural misunderstandings or she does just suck at teaching. Poor, poor Yoki.

I never noticed the time differences. I was wondering if they keep moving around how an injured Ed is supposed to find them or vice versa. HMMM...

I always liked Scar's older brother better. The one problem I have with the Ishbalan priests (as I do in real life with some holy men) is that they're too rigid and allow for nothing outside their mind set. Scar's brother was willing to be accepting and learn

Yes, clergymen and women tend to have a one track mind, which in turn causes me to argue sometimes. But there are always one or two shinning gems to be found... Unlike the military who was using alchemy Scar's brother actually WAS trying to help his people. He gets big points in my book.

Aside from all that, I'm still getting over the room the general showed Olivier. The whole thing was ALIVE! It creeped me out so much I stared at that page for 5 whole minutes.

When you look at what the state alchemists do, I don't blame the Ishbalan leaders being afraid. It's a shame only a select few in their society could see the potential good.

I find Rose in general creepy (I like her even less than I like Mei). HoHo is meant to be creepy I'm sure. I'm definitely liking him though after the Raiders of the Lost Arc episode

In my opinion, Rose is just plain dumb/stupid/lobotomized it really depresses me when people say "Oh my gosh! You should cosplay Rose! You look so much like her!" NO. I. DON'T! I'm a pale, skinny, white chick with a BRAIN.

I cosplay short Miniskirt!Riza all the time. Eventually, I'm doing Winry cosplay. When I do my Winry cosplay, I will have one of my guy friends cosplay Havoc just so I can make out with him in full cosplay (I'm shameless.)

But seriously? Havoc is my absolute favorite in that series aside from Armstrong. Anything with Roy's crew makes me giddy as a lark.

The manga is murder on me...I watch that one Anime episode that is Havoc centric religiously....I'm a Havoc fangirl majorly.
