Awards a plenty
Aug. 19th, 2004 12:18 amBut before I get to bragging about how great I am, let me give Leni a plug. Her choose your own author ficathon closes tomorrow. It was a lot of fun last time. Give it a looksee and sign up. You'll like it.
Now onto my greatness:
I won three at the Potential Awards (
writinggoddess is taking nominations again. I know she's added more character centric categories. Go nominate yourself. I need to do the same).
Pain to Kill one of ELD and my Postcard from the Edge series stories, Connor & Faith (with Angel tossed in) took runner up in the unconventional pairing.
First Night - a S3 Buffy/Angel (and the gang) story taking place a New Year's Eve party won a Black Rose award and The Judas Goat and angsty Wes/Lilah fic S4 won runner up for Sexy Stud-Wes
I won one in The Chosen Awards (and our site did too, as did our webmistress who actually beat me in this same category) for With Dead Eyes a Spike/Dru historical (one of my very first Buffy stories, #2 I believe) set soon after William's siring took runner up in the Past fic category
And from the Futureverse awards (dedicated to just that, future stories with some of the most unusual snapshot, lovely awards I've ever seen), I took best WIP for Hyperion's Son (does anyone not know about my heroin junkie Connor story by now? This wip has so many awards I'll have to retire it before I even finish it!)
I mean where did we even find this great pic
